Help Us Preserve Our Beautiful Beach
Macatawa is summer magic, and we all will admit that the beautiful beach is part of that magic! Please respect the following beach rules during your visit at Macatawa.

  • Absolutely NO fires may be built on the beach or in the dunes, even in so-called “outdoor fireplace” products. Also, no fireworks are allowed to be set off. The beach grass is highly flammable and wind can whip fire sparks into the cottages and dunes in no time with disasterous results. In the past, four fires have burned Macatawa to the ground
  • Quiet hours in the park and on the beach are from 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. each day
  • We permit only nonmotorized watercraft to be trailered and manually launched from the parking lot
  • We enter and exit the beach in our watercraft very slowly, using only the designated lanes marked with the ROUND WHITE buoys
  • We leave only our footprints on the beach! Please pick up your trash, glass, cans, wrappers, cigarette butts, dog poop, etc.
